In this workshop you will learn Qigong, pronounced “chi gong,”which is a Chinese practice developed thousands of years ago as part of traditional Chinese medicine. It involves using exercises to optimize energy within the body, mind, and spirit, with the goal of improving and maintaininghealth and well-being. Qigong is about aligning breath, movement, and awareness for exercise, healing, and martial arts training. In this workshop you will learn how to use your imagination and senses, connect to nature with movement and practice visualizations that bring you back to your mind, body and breath. You will learn wellbeing practices that can be shared together at home, in the classroom, indoors or outdoors and as a way to cultivate healthy wellbeing.
